What Information Do You Need from Me Before the Wedding Day?

Please fill out the booking reservation form which includes all details I require.

 

Are You Willing to Learn New Songs?

If you would like me to play your first dance or a composition during your ceremony then providing I have been given enough time I will do everything I can to learn and play new songs for you.

Who Will Set Up? What Time?

Depending on the amount of equipment required it will either be myself setting or my sound engineer that I will bring along with me. I do usually require at least 90 minutes as a minimum set up time.

What Will You Wear?

For your wedding ceremonies and/or reception I will wear a very smart shirt and tie, a waist coat and smart shoes.  

​

Does Your Equipment Require Any Special Electrics?

I will require at least two power sockets that are of good condition. These sockets will need to be within 8 metres of the performance area.

Where Would You Recommend Performing at My Venue?

During your free consultation we will discuss and plan out the best place for me to perform. If playing outside I will require my equipment to be under a shelter that is water proof.

My wedding is abroad – would you travel for a destination wedding?

I am not currently performing abroad due to COVID 19. Please contact me to discuss any future bookings. 

​

When do you need the remaining balance paid?

No later than the day before the wedding.

 

Can we pay in installments?

Yes of course – I do offer monthly instalment plans.

My venue has a sound limiter – is this a problem?

No – as a solo acoustic musician my volume levels aren’t very high and should not get near triggering a sound limiter.

​

Do You Require a Meal?

If booked for the full day, I’d usually say yes – but it’s certainly not a requirement. I’m pretty low maintenance! I never insist on being fed, but if the offer is there I certainly won’t say no either.

 

How Many Weddings Have You Played?

I have played many weddings for the past 10 years across the UK and Europe. In 2019 I won the Dorset Wedding awards as best live musical entertainment.  Please check out my reviews page for what previous clients have said about me!

Is it Possible to Hear You Before Booking?

Yes – keep an eye on my Facebook page or check out the gigs page for live dates. It’s worth contacting me to confirm though though as these dates are not always set in stone.

NB – my apologies that live dates are few and far between in the Summer. I’m generally booked for weddings/private events most weekends.

 

We’d like to book you to play just one song, is this possible?

It is...however in summer I am usually booked out every weekend for weddings therefore I would only be able to take on a very short gig if it didn't prevent me from taking a bigger booking.

How Would You Describe Your Style?

For weddings I am able to play all types of music and styles to suit your special day. Whether you are wanting dance floor fillers or a gentle acoustic composition during your ceremony I will absolutely be able to adapt to your requirements.

How will COVID 19 social distancing/restrictions affect my booking & your performance?

I will be strictly following all current government guidelines on social distancing and restrictions on all future bookings & performances. Please contact me to discuss this further.
